Our proposals for 14 flats on Southgate Street in central Gloucester has been given the green light by Gloucester City Council. The development consists of a range of one and two-bed flats designed specifically for rental in the affordable housing market, and will provide much needed new homes in the city.
The building has been designed to respond to the Conservation Area setting by completing the gap in the existing historic street frontage and providing additional mews-style flats to the rear of the site. A great deal of effort was involved in refining the massing and design to respect the neighbouring amenities whilst maximising the development potential of this tricky urban site.
We greatly look forward to seeing this project through to the next stages.
